Big Jackpot Alert levels
Although 2 jackpots were won last week, there are still four lottos boasting Big Jackpot Alerts today – all with even bigger jackpots than last week!
American Powerball, EuroMillions and EuroJackpot all saw rollovers – and although SuperEnalotto’s level 5 makes the level 1 & 2 Big Jackpot Alerts seem un-impressive, these jackpots are still nothing to turn your nose up at.
But it’s hard not to talk about Italy’s SuperEnalotto, which has been setting record highs week after week since it topped a €200 Million jackpot earlier this month for only the second time in history – it’s currently sitting at just shy of €300 Million!
It’s very rare that any lotto hits a level 5 jackpot alert – in fact, our records show that this is the 3rd time it’s ever happened, and it was the SuperEnalotto that triggered the 2nd ever level 5 big jackpot alert last week!
Surely SuperEnalotto must be won soon?!
Big Jackpot alert levels use an algorithm to work out how big the jackpot is in comparison to historical data.
Jackpot league tables
Let’s start with the star of this week’s show – Powerball – with a huge jackpot of $550 Million up for grabs, larger than the sum of ALL other jackpots listed today. How’s that for a big jackpot?!
American Mega Millions and Australian Lotto 6/45 saw winners last week, so they have rolled down the ranks in the Big Jackpot Alert table – leaving room for every other lotto to boost itself up the table (Apart from the Irish Lotto, which remains in position 9).
There are over €1 Billion worth of prizes up for grabs across all lotto’s on the jackpot league table this week. Imagine how life-changing even a small slice of that pie would be!
A Florida resident has won a life-changing Mega Millions jackpot just weeks after Hurricane Ian battered their home. As with most lottery jackpot winners, this winner is yet to claim their prize, perhaps their ticket got swept away in the storm!
In other news…
The owner of a Wexford service station that sold Saturday nights winning € 2 million Lotto ticket has said she can “barely speak”.
Imagine how the winner of the ticket feels!
